Foot Pain
Foot pain is a common complaint both men and women will experience during their lifetime. There are a total of 52 bones in your feet which make up1/3 of all the bones in your body. Your feet not only allow you to move but they also provide your body with support. There are also 3 arches in each foot. Over time because of physical stress on our feet, our arches start to breakdown, causing ball of foot pain, arch foot pain and heel pain. Contributing factors to this breakdown include wearing high heels, wearing shoes that are too tight or too small, running on concrete or hard surfaces. Fallen arch symptoms include the development of bunions, calluses, plantar fasciitis, Morton’s neuroma, toe deformation, foot pain, knee pain, hip pain, pubic bone pain, low back pain, mid back pain, neck pain and shoulder pain.

" I was a patient of Dr. Peter for about 1 month and that was all it took for him to help me out and get me back to running. This is going to be a long story but it deserves to be told. Short version- I took his advice saw him for the amount of time he requested, listened to his tips and after 6 months of not being able to run without pain in my ankle I am now back to the sport I love without any pain!!
In February I sprained my ankle during a soccer match and it would just not heal. I spent about 1 month in a boot, 1 1/2 months on crutches, then spent months trying to rebuild myself back into running. First slowly biking, using bands to strengthen my ankle, then slowly running but the pain would slowly come around as I ran farther till it was just painful to go farther.
So around mid June I decided that maybe I should try seeing someone for help. I went to podiatrist, I had X-rays, and MRI, multiple doctors saying my strength and balance was fine. But still no healed ankle, so I ended up at peters office and he spent a month working on my ankle twice a week. As well as prescribing me orthotics.
Now I honestly had never been to a chiropractor prior to this and I'm definitely one to admit I am skeptical about chiropractors really being helpful because it seemed like they adjust people and you'd feel fine for a day and then feel discomfort again.
During the first few sessions I didn't see any results. I was getting dissapointed that even he couldn't find a way to help me. But the last week that I saw him, he was able to make an adjustment that literally made me sweat, what he would call a "sympathetic sweat". It honestly, felt like a tension in my foot at that moment was released and it felt twice as strong and flexible. And while continually wearing the orthotics he prescribed I can truthfully say that 3 weeks after my last appointment, I don't feel any pain in my ankle!! Running is a huge part of my life and it literally means the world to me that Dr. Peter was able to get me back to doing the thing I love." ~ Jarod F.
"Hey there Life Force Health Chiropractic! I wanted to quickly put in words what your care plan has provided me. First off, I'm 37 and have seen 5-6 chiropractors over the past 10 years, each having their own methodology, and ultimately, less than optimal results. My herniated L5 Disk still gave me regular issues, including pain, limited activity and numbness in my left foot - for the past 4 YEARS no less. I started seen Dr.Peter in February 2012 and since then have only had 2 relapses and have returned to regular activities - like coaching my sons Soccer Team. The first spasm (which caused me to come see you) lasted 6 months! No kidding, my back was "locked" for the whole time, I walked with a limp and had extreme numbness; Not a Pretty Sight at all ! After beginning my care with regular visits and cold laser, my 1st relapse only lasted 4 weeks, and was rectified after I started seeing Dr.Peter 2-3 time per week. My last relapse was only about 3 weeks ago, and I was back in motion after only 7 days ! I went from a full spasm to my full range of motion in 1 week. Completely unheard of given my history. I can't say enough about Dr.Peter methodology, approach and bed side manner. He is absolutely there for you - the patient- and getting you healthy again. He has come in on weekends, on his days off and stayed late in order to see me and work with my hectic schedule. Much appreciation Dr.Peter !" ~ Chris McKibbin
"I had a very sore ankle, it was hurting for months. My doctor had me wear a boot to limit my mobility for a month and take pain pills. It helped a little, but the pain would keep coming back. Dr. Peter showed up at our office for the company’s annual health and wellness clinic. I talked to Dr. Peter and decided to give chiropractic a try, what the heck I’ll try something new and see if this will make my ankle feel better. I was skeptical about trying this treatment. WOW – I should have been here long ago. After the first 2-3 adjustments my ankle felt great, very little pain to no pain. Dr. Peter is truly committed to his patients’ well being and listens to your concerns and offers guidance and explanations of what chiropractic care can do for you. Bottom line here is, give chiropractic a try it just may work for you. I had been skeptical of chiropractic care because I went by what I heard from medical doctors and other people. Give it a try. It may or may not work for you, but for me it has been AWESOME! I see Dr. Peter once a week to get an adjustment and feel much better. Chiropractic works for me, and it may work for you so give Dr. Peter a call and get an adjustment. You won’t know until you try it for yourself. Thank you Dr. Peter!" ~ Tom Lazos
"Before considering chiropractic treatment, I had been walking around in discomfort and thinking it was normal to feel this way. I had two young children, years of dance had caught up to me, and I just chalked it up to getting older. After getting tired of taking otc pain meds, I finally made the decision to try chiropractic. Meeting Dr. Peter significantly changed how my body felt. What a difference after just the first few appointments! My neck was no longer stiff, my lower back pain was relieved, and the most dramatic change was the plantar fasciitis in my left foot that I had suffered for years, was actually gone. In the past I had been told by a podiatrist that I would eventually need surgery. Needless to say, thanks to Dr. Peter, that will no longer be necessary. Also, I have recently started using the custom made stabilizers that he recommended, and the support I get from wearing them is like no other. Dr. Peter is genuinely concerned about his patients’ overall health and well being. He is knowledgable, personable, kind, and caring. A true professional in his field!" ~ Lara D.
