What to Expect
Laying the foundation Chiropractic care is like building a house – certain things have to happen in a particular order in order for everything to stand strong and work correctly. When building a house, if you tried to put up your walls before you had a solid foundation, your walls would be weak and eventually collapse. If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:

If you tried to put on your roof before the walls were ready, you would run into the same problem. The same is true for your body. Your body has to go through a particular plan of care in order to repair itself correctly and fully. There are three general phases of chiropractic care:
- Phase 1: Relief Care - If you are in pain when you come into our office, the first objective is to help you feel better. Depending on the severity of your problem, it is typical to need care 2-3 times per week for 4-12 weeks.
- Phase 2: Corrective/Restorative Care - During the corrective care phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, thereby helping prevent injury. It is typical to need care 4-8 times per month for 6-24 months, depending on your overall health and the severity of your problem.
- Phase 3: Wellness Care - Once your body has fully healed, it is important to come in for periodic adjustments to avoid problems in the future. Usually, this only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-4 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
Payment Options
We believe in the value of wellness care for you and your family and we offer a pricing structure that allows care for all budgets.
Dr. Seguinot does not accept any insurance plan, nor bill insurance on your behalf. He can supply you with a “superbill” or medical receipt that you can submit to your carrier for reimbursement. He makes no guarantee of payment or reimbursement by your insurance carrier. Please request a superbill at the time of your appointment. Dr. Seguinot does not accept insurance liens, assignments, or any reimbursement from your insurance carrier.
We offer our Patients flexible payment programs. There is still a way for you to receive the care you need. Many patients pay directly for care, as they discover chiropractic to be extremely cost-effective and affordable.
Our focus at Life Force Health Chiropractic is to actively help you and your family in taking responsibility for your health, wellness, and disease management. We assist and guide you to take the time to care for the important people in your world: you and your family. In an effort to make living the wellness lifestyle as easy and affordable as possible, we create customized family plans specifically for your family.
At Life Force Health Chiropractic we're convinced that a small amount of your time and money to care for your most important asset - your health - will be far less time consuming and expensive than trying to recover it. If you feel you do not have enough time or money to take care of yourself, please contact us - we can help!
The last thing we want is for you to come to our wellness center in crisis. So please, we would like to encourage you to take your health very seriously. As the old saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have anything. Unfortunately, too many people don't discover how true that statement is until it is too late.

Testimonials
"I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis 15 years ago and within 18 months was having to use a wheelchair. The disease progressed rapidly affecting my legs, arms, fine motor skills, bladder and lungs. Around 2004 I started cutting back on and eventually eliminating anti depressant drugs, anti spasticity drugs, and relaxant drugs for my bladder. By 2005 I was drug free except for minimal Asthma medication and one Betaferon intramuscular injection per week and Migraine medication. From the start I was doing Hydrotherapy and Physiotherapy, Hippo Therapy and Manual Therapy about 6-7 times a week in order to retain movement. Reducing and stopping medications definitely helped me along with Recreational therapy e.g. Sailing and Volunteer work. My divorce early 2006 relieved other stresses in my life and I became more independent and became stronger and suffered less migraines.
In 2008/2009 I started finally listening to my daughter who is a Nutritionist and cut out all dairy which had a very good affect within a short time and I cut out sugar and sweeteners, processed foods, white flour and ate red meat only occasionally. This enabled further improvement in movement and I became less fatigued. August 2009 I finally stopped Betaferon injections and this further improved my condition allowing my poisoned liver to recover. When I came to Peter he adjusted my occiput to reduce my migraines and adjusted my entire spine from my neck down to my lumbars and my feet. He prescribed orthotics for which I was measured and bought 2 pairs. I started to walk longer distances during the 7 weeks using them and either pushing my wheelchair in front of me or using crutches. At first I could manage 50-100 yards and worked up slowly to a distance of 1 mile which I could eventually do over a period of hours with frequent rest periods. I had set myself that goal for that period of time and reached it. The walking and orthotics which are slowly correcting my gait also gave me problems with my right knee for which Dr. Peter used a special knee board to adjust me daily.
Now I am back home I am seeing a chiropractor locally once a week and hope to be able to report continued success. The weather where I live is cold the sun definitely less and the sidewalks and paths not so even so I have bought a treadmill for home to try and keep up the good work using it a couple of times each day. I am still trying to work through my knee pain. I believe my body is slowly learning to heal itself with the spinal canal being free of pressure for the first time in 15 years and this is due to my chiropractic treatment. Dr. Peter is the first Chiropractor I have seen. He opened a new avenue of possibility for me to follow and I am truly grateful. There are no coincidences in Life. I believe the key is holistic treatment of which Chiropractic can play a large role if the individual takes on board responsibility for caring for their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being." ~ Mrs. A, January 2011
